Your task is to:
Decide on an original theme
Select deviations related to the theme
Unveil rare, lesser-known gems within the Fine Art Print section of the Prints Shop
Inspire others with your showcase of excellent art
How to Qualify:
Deviations must be enabled as Fine Art Prints no larger than 20” x 30”
Collection must include 1 Print of YOURS and 3 from other deviants that match your theme
You will need to create a Journal that contains the thumbnails of the selected Prints and an explanation of your selected theme
You will need to submit a link to your Journal in the comments of this Journal
Judging Criteria:
Originality/selection of theme
Ability to select compatible works related to your individual theme
Ability to find rare, lesser-known Prints within the Prints program
Excellence in Art of the works selected
Prizing:
There will be two winners selected by deviantART staff. Winners will be announced on January 27, 2012.
1st Place wins their Collection in Fine Art Print Form
2nd Place wins their Print in Fine Art Print Form
Rules:
Entry must be received by 11:59:59 PM Los Angeles, CA, time on January 3, 2012.
Entries must contain 1 of your own Prints along with 1 from each of 3 other deviants
Entries must be submitted in the form of link to your deviantART Journal in the comments below.
Entrants must be at least 13 years old to participate. Residents of any country are eligible.
You may submit more than one entry.
Print selections may not contain any third-party content such as corporate logos, trademarks, or copyrighted characters.

Well, this time around, I’m interested in hearing about the flipside of that coin.

I want to hear about that piece that came to you in a flash. Mine was a song I wrote on the classical guitar in a matter of 15 minutes that is, to this day, the most complex piece I’ve ever written. I still don’t know where it came from or how it happened!
