That's right, do it - because you CAN do it NOW!

When browsing the Prints Shop, you now can collect print thumbnails the same way you can collect deviation thumbnails via dragging and dropping them into your Collection bar.

This comes in really handy for serious collection action specific to wall art and art gift products in the Prints Shop.

For example, you can easily collect your favorite Fine Art Prints you would love to buy in the future when you have enough money and a big house (not a requirement), or making a collection of art gifts you come across and wanna buy for friends and family (hint: it's the holiday season!) so you won't have to browse and search for them all over again later when buying them, or make a collection for somebody who's looking for art products to recommend them works they might wanna like and buy.

A collection can also serve as a backup repository of your desired products in case you accidentally empty your epic shopping cart - Oh noes!

You can now easily and quickly create collections as fine grained as you can browse our new prints Shop.
Anybody got a collection of 20x30" glossy landscape format photo prints of exterior architecture photographs?

Of course it also is perfect for general art collecting, because the Prints Shop is a great place to find outstanding devious art.

$mudimba has finally managed to get a spare moment to finish up a project he has had up his sleeve for quite some time, referred to internally as Captain EO.

Why Captain EO you ask? Because Captain EO was an epic 3D movie of the 80's, and this particular project is about making your prints products look like actual products by creating an on-the-fly 3D render of them on the product page.

Here's a little preview of the work in progress:



We'll be releasing it for Fine Art Prints first, hopefully early next week, with more products to be added post-launch.

We recently released some Profile Page modules specifically to help you promote your prints products. Given that your Profile Page is one of the leading entry points for purchases of your prints, you should definitely get these set up.

You do not need a subscription to install these modules, they're available for all users.

The new modules are:

My Prints: This works like the Collections or Gallery Folder module, allowing you to display multiple thumbs of your prints by product type (ex: Fine Art Prints, Calendars, Mugs, etc...).

Featured Print: Got a hot selling print, or one you think deserves to be? You can use this module to feature a single print on your Profile Page.

I Just Sold: This module will display the last print that you sold. If you have yet to sell a print you can still set it up and it will show your first print sale as soon as you make it.

To install the modules:

1) Go to your Profile page by clicking here.
2) Click "Edit Page" on the top right.
3) Drag and drop the modules from the left into your page layout and click the little arrow on the right side of each one to edit and configure the options.
4) ???
5) Profit!!!!!11
